The things parents ask us first.
Is my family's stuff really private?
Yes. Nothing on Our Pear Tree is public. There is no feed, no profiles to search, and no way for a stranger to find your child. Only the people you personally invite can see anything.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
Never. We do not sell your information, we do not run ads, and we do not use your photos or words to train anything. You pay for the service, so you are not the product.
Can I keep some moments extra private?
Yes. You can lock your most personal moments, like an early pregnancy or a fertility journey, in a private vault that only you can open, with a password you alone hold. Vaulted moments stay out of search, printed books, and shared links.
What happens to my photos if I cancel?
They stay yours. You can export everything at full quality, for free, before you go, and we give you a grace period with a reminder. We never delete an archive just because a payment lapsed.
Can grandparents see it without downloading an app?
Yes. Send them a private link that opens in any web browser. Grandparents who do not use apps can still watch your little one grow, and viewers are free on every plan.
Are my photos safely backed up?
Always. Every photo is kept at full resolution in two separate places, so a single outage or company can never lose your memories. It is built to still open decades from now.
